The Windsor High School choir sings during the assembly. They played in honor of the many veterans in front of them and those who were not and prepared for this concert for weeks.

Principal Dick Thomas (staff) accompanies Leah Bacon (12) in recognizing important people in the Windsor community. “The significance of this assembly, for me anyway, and I’m hoping for the students and staff, is to pay respects to the veterans that sacrificed maybe years of their lives to the military to protect our freedom and our country.”

Students, staff and veterans of Windsor High School rise as the National Color Guard presents the colors. The Color Guard has been seen at numerous football games throughout the season, including the football game on Nov. 16, which included the presentation of colors as well as a local flyover.
